Add drops of vinegar into 300 ml water and boil it. Pour the water when it boils. 

Add slices of lemon into 300 ml water and boil it. Pour the water when it boils. 

Please boil water to desired temperature, and then pour to your container of choice. Do not put ingredients other than water such as tea leaves and powder in the kettle.

For safety concern, the kettle can be restarted only when the temperature inside is below 90°C. It takes about 25 minutes to recover depending on the environment.

Minerals in tap water will deposit at the bottom of kettle, and become limescale, which may influence the usability of the kettle.

Please regularly clean the kettle with acidic substance. You can do so with this convenient method:

1. Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar, and then add water until it is over the deposit in the kettle.
2. Leave it to stand overnight.
3. Empty the solution from the kettle. Fill the kettle with clean water to the maximum level. Discard after boiling.
4. May repeat for several times until there is no taste or smell of vinegar.
