Chinese Sausage & Chinese Bacon with Steamed Rice

Ingredients:
Rice160 g
Water160 ml
Chinese sausage (sliced)2 pc
Chinese bacon (sliced)1/2 pc
Ginger (sliced)To taste
Scallion (chopped)To taste
Seasonings:
Dark soy sauce1 tbsp
Light soy sauce2 tbsp
Sugar2 tbsp
Water2 tbsp
Steps:
1.
Put rice and water into a tall bowl.

Remove rack from the Foldable Jet Steamer. Place the bowl on steaming plate. Insert basket. Cover with lid and steam for 20 minutes.
3.
Place the Chinese sausages, Chinese bacon and ginger slices on top of the semi-cooked rice. Close the lid and steam for another 8 minutes.
4.
Mix all seasonings in a saucepan. Heat until thickened to make sweet soy sauce.
5.
Sprinkle chopped scallion on top of the rice. Serve with the sweet soy sauce.
Tips:
Steam Chinese sausages and Chinese bacon for 4 minutes until half-done. It makes them easier to slice.
