Custard Bread Pudding
Powdered Sugar/Whipped Cream
Whisk eggs and sugar. Add milk, light cream and vanilla essence and blend well. Strain custard mixture to remove crumbs.
Grease baking cups, put in bread cubes, raisins and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle a few drops of melted butter on bread. Carefully pour the prepared custard over bread cubes and let soak for about 30 min. (Note: do not let raisins float to surface)
Pre-heat Halogen Cooking Pot at 250°C for 2 min. Then place baking cups on the Low Rack and bake at 160°C for about 25 min (baking time varies depending on cup size).
Sprinkle powdered sugar or add whipped cream and serve when hot.
