Automatic Thermostatic Control

Temperature can be adjusted according to user’s preference. When the upper limit is reached, electricity would be cut off automatically; once the water temperature drops below the lower limit, power will be resumed.

* Remarks: In order to achieve the highest water temperature under normal circumstances, it is best to set the thermostat to the maximum level and then lower it by 0.5°C.

Thermal Circuit Breaker

If the water temperature reaches 82°C, power would be cut off automatically to ensure safety.

Temperature Relief Valve

When the water temperature reaches 90°C, the temperature relief valve will open automatically to prevent the buildup of steam pressure caused by continuous heating in the inner tank.

Pressure Relief Valve

Under abnormal circumstances where the inner tank is subject to excessive pressure (more than 1,000kPa (10 bar)), the pressure relief valve will open automatically to discharge water.

Anti-back Syphon Device

Hot water is prevented from being syphoned back to the supply pipe during water shortage. This effectively prevents inner tank damages and dry-heating.

FAQ

There is no hot water supply from the shower head but the tap of wash-basin does, or vise versa. How shall I fix it?
If the indicator light is on (meaning heater is under normal operation), check whether the tap or pipe is blocked or damaged. Customer should contact a professional for an inspection and repairs.
What do the indicator lights on the Rapid Fast Flow Electric Water Heater mean?
The upper indicator light is on first, indicating that the heating element on the left inner tank has been activated; the lower indicator light is on, indicating that the heating element on the right inner tank has been activated.
Leakage is found on my water heater. How to fix it?
Check the location of leakage. If water is dripping from Pressure & Temperature Relief Valve (PTV): 1. It's normal as PTV is releasing pressure and temperature. 2. If water dripping from PTV is more frequent than usual, it is suggested to set temperature at a lower level (between 2 & 3). If there is no improvement, contact us for an inspection. 3. If water dripping from PTV is in large amount and at faster speed, inspection is needed as the water supply pressure and boiling water pressure is higher than normal. 4. If there is water dripping from PTV when the appliance is off, inspection is needed as the incoming water pressure is higher than normal. There is leakage at the bottom of heater: 1. If water dripping from the inlet, outlet and the bottom edge, inspection should be arranged for repair. 2. If there is water dripping from the joints of inlet & outlet, customer should contact a professional for an inspection and repairs. There is leaking from shower head and tap: 1. Why is my Rapid Fast Flow Electric Water Heater not producing any cold water but only hot water?
The Rapid Fast Flow Electric Water Heater is not out of order. Cold water does not go through the inside of the heater. There is no cold water mostly because the tap is broken or the hose is clogged. Contact the Repairs & Customer Service Centre for inspection and repair.
There is no hot water supply from my Rapid Fast Flow Electric Water Heater – Shower Type after water shortage. Why?
Water inside the tank flows away through the pipe during water shortage. When water supply resumes, turn on the hot water tap and let water flow through the shower head before switching on the power. The heating element would be damaged if it is not submerged under water.
Why is the water heater making noise?
The noise comes from the operating sound of the heating elements. Also, when the water pressure is unstable, the water heater tends to make noise.
How to make my water heater last longer?
Avoid boiling water without interval. Adjust the Thermostat to 2 1/2. To stabilize water pressure, pressure regulator can be installed if the water pressure is higher than normal.
Why is my Rapid Fast Flow Electric Water Heater noisy?
The water heater is noisy due to gasification. Release hot water inside the heater to force out the air. Procedures: 1. Turn off the power supply 2. Release the hot water 3. Turn off the tap after half a minute/1 minute 4. Repeat the process thrice or more
There is no hot water supply. What should I do?
Check the power supply: 1. Restart the power if there is a short circuit of electric box. 2. If the Power Switch (Cooker Switch) doesn't light, customer should contact a professional for an inspection and repairs. 3. If the Power Switch (Cooker Switch) lights but the indicator light doesn't, inspection should be arranged for repairs. 4. Under normal operation, hot water supply is only availble after the indicator light goes out.
Why is the water coming out from my water heater sometimes hot and sometimes cold?
